From 42 hours of 4K footage to a 40-minute documentary
What A Worldcup to Remember taught us about archiving, selection, rhythm, and documentary editing.

A documentary is shaped long before the final timeline. We organized 42 hours of 4K footage by story, character, emotion, and narrative purpose before editing.
Editing the story first
A beautiful shot is not always the right shot. We balanced stadium energy, interviews, city life, and quiet moments to create a clear narrative rhythm.
A disciplined 4K workflow
Consistent naming, proxy generation, backups, sound synchronization, and version control gave the creative team more time for editorial decisions.
The result was not only a film about the World Cup, but a 40-minute documentary about the human stories beyond the pitch.
